MAINE NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING TO APPROVE A $4,000,000 TAX ANTICIPATION NOTE

Notice is hereby given that the County Commissioners of Oxford County, Maine, will meet at the Commissioners’ Office in the Oxford County Courthouse, South Paris, Maine, on March 8, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. to consider the adoption of a resolution to authorize borrowing up to $4,000,000 by issuing and delivering a Tax Anticipation Note pursuant to the authority set out in the Maine Revised Statutes, and to sell that Note to a lender to be selected by the County Commissioners, all to provide operating funds in anticipation of receipt of taxes. The public is welcome to attend. Written comments received by the Commissioners before the meeting will be considered.
