Emergency management is the managerial function charged with creating the framework within which communities reduce vulnerability to hazards and cope with disasters.
The office has three paralegal-secretaries: Mariah Castonguay (since 2016), Suzanna Gallant (since 2012) and Lisa Mack (since 2007). Our office staff also includes two victim-witness advocates. Catherine Audet, specializing in domestic violence and sex crimes (since 2017) and Cathy Ring, senior VWA who has been with the office since 2006.

The Oxford County District Attorney's Office prosecutes criminal cases for the following law enforcement agencies: Maine State Police, Oxford County Sheriff’s Department, Maine Warden Service, Maine Fire Marshal, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Maine Forest Service, Bureau of Liquor Enforcement, Dept. of Probation & Parole (including juvenile caseworkers) and municipal police departments in Dixfield, Fryeburg, Mexico, Norway, Oxford, Rumford and South Paris.
