Minutes of Nov. 17, 2009

            At the Court of Oxford County Commissioners begun and held at Paris, within and for the County of Oxford on November 17, 2009 there were present:

David A. Duguay, Chairman
Steven M. Merrill
Caldwell Jackson

9:00                 Pledge of Allegiance

9:05                 Executive Session: Judge of Probate Dana Hanley and Register of
                        Probate Bruce Rood discussed operations in the Probate Office.

9:30-11:25       Department Head Meeting

11:30-12:20     Executive Session to discuss the Dispatchers’ petition to form a collective bargaining unit.

12:20-1:15       Lunch
           
1:15-2:45         Executive Session to discuss union negotiations

2:45                 Sheriff Gallant stated that he plans to keep the two jail vans and purchase a car for transporting inmates.

             The following were either approved or signed by the County Commissioners:

1. Minutes of the last meeting
2. To suspend paying for electricity at the Albany Town Hall
3. To search for a county attorney and county accountant
4. Criminal Forfeiture Items from Henry Theberge, Jr.

         All other bills and accounts were given consideration and now on the first day of Nov. 17, the Commissioners adjourned at 4:30 p.m. until December 1, 2009.
