At the Court of Oxford County Commissioners begun and held at Fryeburg, within and for the County of Oxford on February 5th, there were present:
Caldwell Jackson, Chairman
David A. Duguay
Steven M. Merrill
Carole G. Fulton

5:00 Pledge of Allegiance

5:05 - Bill Haynes presented his ideas to update and maintain the county website on a regular basis. Haynes proposed to have links to all the towns and departments when possible. He would dress up the home page and add more information on each department, event and attractions. All agendas, minutes and budget is to be added to the site. Merrill made the motion with a second by Duguay to enter into a verbal agreement with Haynes for a fee not to exceed $2,400 a year. Vote by the Board was unanimous.

Commissioners Duguay and Merrill voted to increase the mileage reimbursement rate for Civil Process servers and county employees to 43 cents effective March 1. They voted to revisit the rate in July using the average of the federal rate and the state volunteer rate.

The Commissioners also voted on the following:
- Lay 2008 county taxes at .000639644 mil rate with an overlay of $ 82,871 - Due date was changed to September 1.
- To hire Dori Meservier as the legal secretary to replace Nancy McAllister who retires March 1.
- Commissioners to meet with Department Heads @ 9:30 on the 3rd Tuesday sessions of each month.
- Renewed Medical Services Provider contract with ARCH ending December 31, 2009. 6.5% increase first year & 5.5% increase 2nd yr

Now on the first of February 5th, 2008 the Commissioners adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
